access sms.db from iphone

I think the problem is so crucial tht it has made me post an thread...

Actully i want to access the sms.db file from iphone...(.ie. sms, audio, video files)
looking thrgh the available forums it got to my knowledge tht it can be access from the following path in iphone "/var/mobile/Library/SMS/sms.db"...

bt i wld like to knw the sample code or any way to make it work using xcode

Any help wld be heartly appreciated...since i am cribbbing on the same since 3days...:confused::(

You cannot access that using the SDK. If you want to develop for Jailbroken phones only you can.

I don't get threads like this. How can it POSSIBLY take 3 days to read the iPhone programming guide, more specifically the section where it talks about the application sandbox and realize what you want to do isn't possible using the official SDK?

for eg..(sms export application, beam ME pro vCard exchange application) in itunes store...

I know it can be done on an jailbroken iphone...

But is it impossible in non-jailbroken iphone..???:confused:

i hav done with extracting the contact list from iphone...bt left with extraction of sms, images, audio, notes, video etc..:(

as i am an newbie to sch type of codings...I am sorry to ask such absurd query...:apple:

ok.....i hav seen the applications in the itunes store....none of the both match the criteria what i want...
sms export application do match some of it....bt it is used to save or print SMS to your PC/MAC..

newyz i thnk i hav concluded the post with an knowledge tht there is no way or code to extract files like (sms, audio, video, notes) from an non-jailbroken iphone...
