What's so good about Quick time X? It edits videos?..So does iMovie!

I don't understand why this is even here. We can do a lot more video editing in iMovie then we can in Quick Time X, so why makes it so good? I hear it' a PRO about Snow leopard but we've been able to trim for ever now. Anyone care to explain how it's different?

1) you've posted in the wrong forum

2) it's not designed to replace iMovie. It's designed to only clip a video file to make video sharing easier rather than having to go to iMovie and do it there.
