When I play I get extreme lag :mad: What to do to stop it? What servers with what amount of ping should I join?:confused:

In general, you will want to join servers where your ping is less than 100 (lower is better).

I've also heard that playing on servers with a low average ping can help, as due to the architecture of the game a slow pinging player can slow down the other players.

Although it is an older game, you may want to make sure you have powerful enough hardware to play at your chosen resolution, as it may be your computer that is slow rather than your connection. Most modern macs should be more than capable, but if you are playing on an old G3 or G4 mac of some flavor, this might be a problem.
