I have an iPhone 3GS that I am strongly considering ditching a going back to Verizon Wireless. I purchased mobileme to track the iPhone in case I ever had it lost/stolen.

Will the iPod touch still function will MobileMe the same as the iPhone as long as I am connected to wifi? I know the tracking part will not work, but all others will right?

When you go to itunes, and when you are in the Ipod touch sync menu, scroll down, and sync mobile me. I have done it. It can be done.

Yes, the iPod can sync with MobileMe quite well.

In fact, the tracking will (kinda) work also. (The iPod can do "poor man's GPS" using Wi-Fi base station MAC addresses and the Skyhook database.)
