This may have been covered before, but I just came across this on another rumor site [puts his head down in shame] and was wondering if anyone here knew what it means:
www.mammals.org
Try it. Type it in. See what happens.

Perhaps a site at this address will show some "results" from Apple's relationship with Genentech :D

Even stranger, according to the Internet Archive, both of these links have been pointing to the Apple site since they were registered:
www.mammals.org (http://web.archive.org/web/19981212015507/http://mammals.org/)
www.iphone.org (http://web.archive.org/web/20000301215447/www.apple.com/home/index3b.html)
Interesting to see how the site looked back then...

It's a little known fact that apple and Genentech have been working closely with national parks all over the world on a revolutionary new species to populate areas of country side that have very little wildlife with their new project iYak it has glossy while fur and it's an incredibly friendly creature :D

mammals.com was created in 98 - i can't imagine that is was available till then, they had to have bought it out from someone or it freed up. But what mammals have to do with apple is beyond me.....
