I've made it clear on another post that I am planning on downloading the correct version since Apple dropped the ball and didn't get me my copy when promised. It's still in the mail. I've already purchased a licensed copy, so I'm not doing anything wrong by simply installing the software I've already purchased.

The weekend is just a much more convenient time for me to do a clean installation and get everything reinstalled and I'm pretty disappointed that my copy of SL isn't here.

Thank you ethics police. I know I'm not doing anything wrong. I would just like to get a jump start on the upgrade since I know it's going to take awhile to get everything setup and reinstalled. And yes, I'm slightly impatient. But I shouldn't have to go buy a retail copy when my up-to-date copy is en route.

Popped in my retail.. here is the get info window:

Also, make sure to note that the units are different - I'm running Snow Leopard, so these sizes are measured in actual MB and GB.. you'd have to convert them to MiB and GiB.

Thanks guys. Looks like 6.27GB should be the correct size for the DMG as reported by Leopard then.
