could not activiate cellular data netwrok/PDP authentification failure

anybody else recieving these errors messages today when connecting to the net? me and my friend both with iphone 3gs cant access and keep getting these messages, but another with 3g can get on fine. all on o2 network.

Been having exactly the same problem since about midday- where are you based?

yeh i tried to get on at 11.30 and couldnt. it did let me back on though about 30 mins later when i connected my i phone to my pc, but then after when i switched to the mains charger its stopped again. based in stoke-on-trent
