HEY, I´M NEW IN THIS FORUM. :D
I´VE A G4 QUICKSILVER WITH SUPERDRIVE IN IT.
CAN U TELL ME HOW CAN I RIP A 9 OR 8 G DVD AND BURN IT IN A 4G DVD-R???
I THINK TOAST 6 CAN BURN DVD... CAN ANYONE HELP ME :rolleyes:

well im going to throw in a good response before all the internet police members come in. check versiontracker.com and look at a program called forty-two.
also, your pinky on the keyboard is about a 1/2 centimeter away from earning a little more respect on this forum ;)

don't shout
go to version tracker , get MacTheRipper or DVD Back-up, this will rip the Dvd's to ur hard drive and decrypt them.
then get DVD2One to shrink the file to around 4.4 gigs , read instructions at in thier web site. the rest is up 2 u.

If you want to keep all of the menus and stuff that were in the original dvd, I don't know, but for just ripping movies and such onto your hard drive, handbrake from versiontracker is really good. You can tell it a bitrate or a target size for the rip, as well as the file format. Also you can crop the movie, which can be good.
and please turn off caps lock in the future.
