Side note, has anyone figured out how to get the Macintosh HD to show on the desktop? I tried dragging it, but it wouldn't work.

Glad you like it, I did/do too! (read below and you'll see why I say 'did'), goes with the interface very nicely.

But it's a tricky thing...

For one you can do it the original way:

Only downside is that the behaviour isn't very dockish, meaning you'll get this if you drag a window over it...

After trying out the method above, I experimented around a bit and got the same result using this dock http://macthemes2.net/forum/viewtopic.php?id=16798604&p=1 (which is much sweeter than the stock 2D dock btw!) and some modified dock resource files with GeekTool

Save yourself the trouble though and use the original method, if you can live with the limitation.

I actually switched from the panel style dock back to the dock I linked above because the limitation got a little irritating, but if GeekTool manages to have a float feature and not just on top/on bottom like it has now, then it would act like a real dock and I'd switch back in a heartbeat.

Hope that made some sense lol. :)

What I did was search HDR image Chicago in Google and I chose the one that I liked the most. The HDR is for High Dynamic Range. You will get some pretty vivid photos, for some reason most of them look like cartoon drawings of actual photos.
