Temporarily Syncing

I no longer have my laptop I was using for itunes. I am going to be without a computer for a few months.
Can I sync with a friends computer to download any updates?
If I do that, will I be able to keep the music I now have on my iphone?
Any red flags I should watch out for?

You are probably going to want to ask you friend to setup a profile on their computer. Then you are going to want to get an application for the computer that will copy/rip the data from your iPhone. If you sync with his computer under his profile and itunes it will most certainly delete your stuff and put his on.
