3g?

I'm upgrading to an iPhone 3G from an original iPhone (the 3G is a hand-me-down from a friend who got a 3GS on AT&T). I'm on T-Mobile, and live in Spokane; I believe that T-Mobile has rolled out 3G here.

Anyone know if 3G can be used?

T-Mobile's 3G frequency is incompatible with the iPhone, no where in the US will it work. Sorry. Edge only. I know, my iPhone is on T-Mobile too.
