when I set up our first gen airport base station I can remember having headaches setting it up - neither aiport base station utility or the set up assistant could find it. after lots of playing with it I got it to work and haven't had any more problems the last few years.
now - I think I've got a bandwith leacher. Probably a neighboor or something but someone is mooching my internet j
I never set up a WEP encryption because i never needed it - now with wireless everywhere I want to put a password on my network - problem though - neither airport utility or set up assistant can find my base station. Its working fine - hell I'm on the internet right now with it but I just can't get those utilitys to find it!
Is there another way to make my wireless network encrypted then in those apps?
