Was this a case (http://wokv.com/localnews/2009/08/man-commits-suicide-before-hea.html) of the legal system doing justice, karma or just bad luck?

Thursday afternoon, 57-year-old William Evans was found dead in his St. Augustine home from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

He faced charges for a sexual battery he was accused of committing against a young girl in the early 1980s. The alleged victim is now an adult and pursued the charges with the State Attorney's Office. (Miami Herald (http://www.miamiherald.com/news/florida/AP/story/1206128.html): The now-38-year-old woman reported that Evans began routinely molesting her about 29 years ago when she was 9 or 10.)

Evans was arrested in 2004 and was in a St. Johns County courtroom to hear the verdict today. The judge allowed a recess before the verdict, and during that time, Evans went to his residence in the 100 block of Stokes Landing. Investigators with the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office say Evans committed suicide during that time.

As the judge allowed the verdict to be read, he sent deputies to check on Evans. As they found Evans' body near the balcony of his home, the jury found him not guilty.

Which do you say it was?

Wow, not really sure. He must have believed that the jury was going to return a guilty verdict. How long does someone have to file these kinds of charges? This happened almost 30 years ago.

Either A) He did it and he thought he deserved to die.

B) He was innocent and knew what happens to chomos in the state pin.

or

C) He was guilty and knew what happens to chomos in the state pin.

Same can be said about the priest who were accused of molesting kids XX amount of years. There have been a couple of cases like this. When the victim who is now grown up goes after the person(s) who molested them XX amount of years.

I'll take "C" ... Final answer, Regis. Sounds like his telltale heart was playing Jedi mind tricks on him. If so, well deserved.
