I would like to take my entire dvd collection and rip it onto my external hard drive. I am wondering what video format would be the best for space, while still giving me good quality and sound. Thanks

Use Handbrake.

So h.264 uses up the least amount of space? Thanks, Ill try Handbrake

When using Handbrake should I have the output as mp4, mkv, avi, or ogm?
