I'm looking to connect my iphone to a sound system that only has the white and red connectors. I was thinking of buying this:
http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-PRO-mini-phone-stereo-shielded/dp/B000RHDVHA/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

however what does it mean by mini 3.5mm? Is that that input that the iphone has?

Thanks!
Yes. You might check Monoprice. They tend to be a much better deal on cables. I just bought a 3.5 mm extender for using with my iPhone with my MINI's iPod adapter cable. I got two cables shipped for less than $5.

Why do you need 50 ft. worth?? That's overkill if you ask me...
Most flag poles are 50 foot tall.

Not only is 50' overkill, a cable that long will affect sound quality.

OP: For future reference, the "white and red" connectors are called RCA connectors.
