got a new hard drive, nothing happens when i plug my iphone in

My hard drive crashed and I had it replaced yesterday. Now when I plug my iphone in, nothing happens. I tried to update Itunes and still nothin.
Not sure what to do??

What do you mean nothing happens? You don't even get a popup saying something like open files or view camera? Or are you saying that nothing happens in iTunes, such that it doesn't say you have an iPhone. Since you got a new hard drive, you may have a USB driver problem. Does anything else work in the USB?
