Did 2.2 gamma from SL improved the screen of UMB?

Nope, I'm still using my 1.8 custom profile just because the 2.2 setting makes the blacks even less defined. Sure, they look darker but there's even less gradation.

9C89 panel here...

What is the best profile for the 9C8C screen?

You can search around here for one, but I'd recommend downloading and using SuperCal to create one you're happy with.

Sure it takes some time, but you can get a pretty nicely dialed in display given the limitations of the panel.

Really?
I was pretty happy with the new display profile in SL... I been using it since launch day.. It works for me but I guess everyone prefers something different..

I've been using it since i bought my Macbook and I don't even have Snow Leopard 😛

I just prefer it, I think it's nicer.
