iPhone App Store Updates

I keep getting the same app store updates on my iPhone. I got these updates via iTunes and at the time my iPhone showed my apps were up to date. But then every so often, the updates show up again in the app store update area on my iPhone. Why does it keep showing me the updates that I already did? Here it is September and it is saying I need updates from last June.

You probably just have apps that update regularly. And just so you know, unless they release a completely new version of the application the date stays the same as when they originally released it.
