Are you asking how long it will take before Apple makes contributions to support certain political decisions? If that's what you're asking, Apple has already done so. Not in a big way, like some other large companies, but most recently was probably the Prop. 8 issue last year -- both Apple and Google opposed it (http://www.macrumors.com/2008/10/24/apple-publicly-opposes-california-proposition-8-ban-on-same-sex-marriage/).
