iPod 5G nano cases?

I'm pretty new to the iPod case game, as I never felt the need to get a case for my one and only iPod (1G nano).

My question is, based on the history of iPod releases, how much longer does it take for case manufacturers (SwitchEasy, iFrogz, etc.) to release cases for the new generations?
