is it okay to turn the monitors on/off via the switch on the back of the left speaker each time im not using them or should i leave them on 24/7

I always turned off my monitors before disconnecting them to avoid the "pop" that occurs when disconnecting.
okay so whenever im done using them its perfectly fine to turn them off and it wont hurt longevity?
