So two conclusions :

1) There will be no new ipod before christmas
2) There is a possibility of early 2010 release

are you talking about the tablet cause who says that it'll be labeled an ipod...regardless i don't have high hopes for a tablet this year

I don't think they have ever updated in September only to update again before Christmas. This really isn't a big surprise.

Yea... i Know... but many believe rumours about technical difficulty on camera touch and started discussion about october/november release.

So, after watched today event stream (in witch it's pretty clear that no new ipod this year), i decided to start this thread to clear up things...

Personal note : a evil part of myself don't want a new touch in the next year because i was unable to wait another 6 months ... (i already waited 8 months...lol... if i knew !)

I agree. I don't think anything new will come from the iPod lineup before the end of the year.

I expect something during March 2010.
