After I found out that the Ethernet port on my PC is probably dead, I tried IP over FireWire. I am able to see the files on my PC from my Mac and vice versa, but I can't connect to the Internet with my PC.

I connect to the Internet from my Mac with Airport. The PC is connected to my Mac with FireWire. I have enabled Internet Sharing on my Mac, but it doesn't work yet. Any ideas?

Make sure it is sharing the internet connection from AirPort, and then make sure it is sharing through the firewire port. You may only be sharing through Ethernet.

That's all right. Must be something else.
