Nonetheless, what's the spec?

I will probably end up buying either 32gb or 64gb Touch even though I really do hate the fact that they lack a camera.


So, I have a couple of questions:

1. How faster is the new processor? 15% or 50%?

2. What version of OS do they come with? 3.0 or 3.1?

3. What else?

They will come with 3.1 preinstalled and as for how fast, you need to search benchmarks, which I doubt you'll find much of, to see.

I could write a simple app that tells us the specs. Just PM me if you have a new 32 or 64 GB device, and I'll send it to you.

As for speed, a good test is to go to the same web page on two devices, without having been there before (so no cache). Or, run a benchmark like Gauge Mathematical Tool in the App Store, and tell us what score it gets.
