Does anyone know if the 64Gb iPod Touch is available in any of the Apple shops in the UK yet? I've tried ringing but can't get through. My nearest one is Sheffield, I don't really want to trek up there if they haven't got it.

I didn't see any of the new ipods (classic, nano or touch) when I went into the Leicester store today. They still had the old pricing displayed.

why trek anywhere?

i'm in the UK and order my up-to-date stuff directly from the Apple online store.

It's not that far from where I work, a helluva lot easier than waiting in for or collecting parcels.

Anyway, I went to the Apple Store in Meadowhall and they haven't got it. They didn't have a clue when they would arrive, just told me to try again tomorrow.

That seems a bit bizarre in this day and age. Will they be delivered under cover of darkness?
