If they are, I want to play with the touch and see how fast it is compared to the old one.

Well they have been in store for over a year now as far as I am concerned.....

Tried my local Apple Store this morning and they said no. Then Best Buy showed them in stock for in-store pickup. When I got there they all looked puzzled and said they didn't have any:)

They were not in the apple store yesterady evening when I checked. I asked one of the managers and he said he had no idea when they would be getting them in. I just ordered it online, it should come in a few days.

According to Apple's website, the new Nano should be in-store today and the new Touch tomorrow.

http://www.apple.com/retail/ Read the banner carefully. Yesterday it said "Thursday" for the Nano, which has since changed to "Today". The Touch is still promised on Friday.

Any guess for when it will show up at Walmart or Bestbuy?? I don't have an Apple store.

BB's online says 6-10 days. Walmart I dont know. Amazon has them as still a pre-order and Fry's electronics is the same
