Does anyone know of a way to set iTunes to start playing at a certain time? I think it would make the ultimate clock-radio, especially since you don't have to worry about commercials and you don't have to set up a second CD player. Any ideas?
It should be relatively trivial for an experienced AppleScripter to write something to start iTunes at a given time and play a given playlist.
Not being an experienced AppleScripter, though, I probably can't do it for you. But maybe I'll look into it - seems like a cool idea.

What exactly do you write AppleScript in? I have some experience with C++; is it anything like that?

Excellent! Of course, a simple script to launch iTunes at a given time would work too, but this is only $10 and seems like a good deal. Well, it's free, but $10 seems a fair price for the upgrade and to support the guy.
