Advice, which Windows7?

As a student I am able to install Windows 7 on my machines. I have an 2008 Mac Pro and early 2008 MBP. Can anybody advise me on whether I should install Windows Professional x64 or x86 on my machines?

How much RAM on your computers?

I'd recommend 32 bit for 3 GB or less, 64 bit for 4 GB or more.
 
I'd recommend installing the 64-bit version on both. The 64-bit version uses a little more RAM, but it has speed-ups in some areas that make it worth using when given a choice.
