Glossy Screen VS Mate Screen Option

Hi guys, Im kinda newbie in the MAC World...

and I have this doubt regarding the new macbookpros. 15 inch model


What is the best option for a user that has never tested a glossy screen.

is it true that glossy screen reflect to much ? ....

do I have to put the laptop into a pre-set light conditions in order to have the best image possible ?

what are your thoughts, pros and cons in this matter.


please reply based upon your own experience.

The best thing to do is go look at both and decide for yourself. You'll get about 50% who prefer glossy and 50% who prefer matte. There are also HUNDREDS of threads in this forum on "glossy vs matte". Try searching.

You can't ask this kind of question on here. You will get people who recommend glossy (which I use and love) and you will get people who will tell you that there is no way to go but AG.

You need to go to a store and look for yourself, see what works for you and which you prefer.

It's all about opinion and preference, something which no one else can provide for you.
