Apple needs to move faster. Perhaps they need to hire additional international business experts in order to more effectively negotiate in several markets at the same time.

$1million a year market in Singapore isnt going to get Steve Jobs remotely interested. Let the littler guys try and generate some interest, then Apple step in to do it properly. (The advice of someone who knows nothing about business)

Music is a huge* potential business in Asia. Currently the vast majority of sales are illegal. But the volume of music that people buy or acquire illegally is very large compared to the worldwide average. Apple has a basically good business model to address piracy. So, Asia should be an attractive market for Apple.
