smcFancontrol issue

Just done a complete clean install of OSX on my iMac.

It is now running Snow Leopard.

Reinstalled smcFancontrol v2.2.2.

smc is showing a temp in the Menu bar that my iMac iss running at -127 degress C and the fan spped is 999 even after I have added my
setting and applied them.

Infact it just is not working at all, I have set the fan speeds and applied my settings, but everything in SMC just remains the same.

Any ideas as to how I can get this working correctly.

I did install fan control but did the uninstall process so that should not be an issue.

Hi

Problem solved , it seemd I had download some wierd version 2 that did not work even thought he links I followed stated 2.2.2

All OK now, got 2.2.2 up an running OK....
