Simulation instability?

Hello,

Well I have been folding on a Dual 2.0 G5, and recently I have encountered three of the following types of messages which says:

Simulation instablility..check if your computer is unstable or too hot. ?

The WU then stops running, sends the data that has been done and retrieves another WU. I never hear the fans coming on, indicating a hotter state, nor do I see a temperature spike using Temp. Monitor (I'm not sure how reliable this app is though).

I've noticed no other symptoms like crashing, slow downs, or apps quitting. Everything, but the WU quitting, is perfect. So any ideas why this is so? Is it normal?

i've gotten this every once in a while, i'll just quit around 50-58%.
Not sure why, or if this affects anything, but you aren't alone.

same thing happened to me last night.
I didn't even know, until I saw your post and out of curiosity checked my log file.
was it always on the same WU?
mine was Protein: p1093_RN24_sheet, using FahCore_78.exe

I don't remember which proteins the first two were but the last one was:

Protein: p1092_RN24_hairpin, using FahCore_78.exe

Update:
The first protein log I erased b/c I reinstalled everything to see if that was the problem. However, the second protein was:
p1092_RN24_hairpin,

So the second and third instance were the same WU in my case. Another note is that Don't panic's protein and mine are the same RN24 protein just different regions.

The p1090 thru p1094 have a real bad habit of early ending , not just on Macs either......
Hope they get them ironed out soon , Just Fold On !

i never thought to check the last ones that died on me, but
