I have been googling and searching, but I guess I suck at that. I am about to pull a trigger on a 2.5 inch Crucial 256 gig SSD drive (I have one in my mac book pro). I want to use this drive in my mac pro. Trying to find an adapter so I can fit it in the mac pro. Any ideas where I can get one? It seems there are hardly any choices for 3.5 inch SSD drives.

MaxUpgrades sells rails for the Mac Pro specifically for SSD.

I have three of the MaxUpgrades SSD adapters in my MacPro. I thought they were expensive for what they where - but work without issue and are very good quality.

I picked up a P256 drive and an IcyDock last month. Literally 2 minutes to assemble and load into my MP. Can't say if it's better than the Maxupgrade solution or not, I just know I've had zero issues with either the drive or the adapter. And if interested, my boot time from the startup chime to login prompt is between 15-20 seconds. First launch of any of the Office apps is 2-3 seconds, same with iTunes, iPhoto, etc.
