If only that existed. Usually people just use skype and MSN with current friends.

For random, I'd say just use craigslist or something. Or give those porn sites a visit.

Tinychat (http://tinychat.com) is pretty straightforward and seems to do the trick. I have a friend who used to use it regularly and I'd join her every now and then if we hadn't spoke in a while...no complaints from my end.

www.stickam.com is pretty good. There is, of course, the odd pervert, but you can kick, or you can filter who you allow in. I quit because the novelty wore off after a while :)
