So here is my problem:

The other day, I accidentally disconnected my external cd-burner from my computer, and thinking I was quick enough I quickly plugged it back in. I got stuck with a hanging computer and a spinning beachball for my efforts. After much waiting and pursuit of other avenues, I was forced to turn off my computer by holding down the pwr button. At the time, I had a few programs open...MS Word, iTunes, Firebird.

When my computer restarted, everything seemed fine...and it is really, with this exception. In firebird, I have lost the ability to drag-and-drop icons to create links in my taskbar. Seems to be the only fuctionality lost...

Any ideas why or how to fix this? I will probably just re-install FB sometime soon, but I figured it might be a good opportunity to learn something about what had happened and other ways of fixing problems such as this...

Thanks for any help in advance...

Try getting the latest version of Firebird, which is now called Firefox: http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/

It's really good. Much better than previous versions.
