iTunes removes music and video for rearranging apps

Hello,

Well this is not the first time it's done it, but my brand new 32gb iPod touch (3rd generation) keeps getting its music and videos whipped by iTunes, when I rearange apps using the "Applications" tab. Last time I was just having a look at either the Applications, or just adjusting some other iPod settings in iTunes.

Does anyone else get this issue? Or is it just me?

Do you think iTunes will come out with an update sometime soon to fix this?

Not sure what you mean by whipped. Please explain. All my albums are kind of messed up in coverflow, and don't show all the songs in an album, but when I check under artist all the songs are there. Is this related to what you are talking about?

By whipped, I mean deleted from my iPod. Not sure about the exact cause of the problem, because it takes ages to all sync back.

You don't happen to have "Manage Music & Video Manually" (or whatever it's called) checked, by any chance?
