Can a fm transmiter be used as a hands free setup

I would like to buy A fm transmiter for my iPod. I would also like to use it as a hands free set up in the car. Is this possible?

A hands-free setup? As in, you want to use your iPod while driving, but don't want to use your hands to do so? To my knowledge, there isn't a voice control method of doing this, but you could consider getting a transmitter that has a remote that attaches to your steering wheel.
