iTunes Music Store slow?

Ever since I switched to a Mac (got my Powerbook June 7th), iTMS has been extremely slow. Is just always how it's been on a Mac and Windows is faster? It just took me 2 minutes to do a band name search.

Well I just realized it's probably the iTunes promotion right now that's bogging everything down, but I swear it was always even a little slower even back in early June.

I guess a PC hooked up with an ethernet cable vs. a laptop with a wireless card will always be faster.

I've been using a Mac for the music store since it opened and it hasn't always been slow. Yeah, the latest promotion has occassionally made it really really slow, but hopefully it will get back up to speed soon. I'm also using wireless (102.11b) and it seems to go just as fast when I'm wired, but I don't know, maybe it's different.
