Can you link to me which one? You happy with it so far, fairly good build quality?

This one (http://www.amazon.com/Griffin-WindowSeat-Windshield-Adapter-Auxiliary/dp/B0014YJHNW) is okay. Not perfect, but good. It would be perfect if I could rotate it without the case part popping off the ball and socket joint every so often.

Thanks for the advice, but I think a holder liek this would probably be better as it sticks into the air vents instead...

I reckon a suction cap might not be very strong as I dont want my iPhone flying off the windscreen!

The suction cup is very strong in the WindowSeat. It's been up for weeks with no problems, even in 100°+ weather.
Anyway, I don't like it in front of a vent, because then it's both blocking the AC/heat, and getting AC/heat blown right onto it for extended periods. No thanks.
