I want to jailbreak 3.0.1 on my iPhone3G. Ive jailbroken before so it shouldn't be too hard.

The one thing I want to ask is, should I format to factory settings and upgrade to 3.0.1? Or, Do I upgrade 3.0 to 3.0.1 and then jailbreak?

What's the recommended solution?
