Hmm... Good question!!! Once it's done copying my files I'll install it and report back. Should just be a few minutes

Update: 5-Icon Dock doesn't seem to work at all... Installed and it wouldn't reload my springboard????

Update # 2: After restarting, 5-Icon Dock was working. Does not appear in iTunes... but doesn't mess anything up either. I had 5-icons in my dock, moved icons around and using iTunes, and 5-icons remained in my dock after syncing

Well Five Icon Dock won't run correctly under 3.1 probably becase of the iTunes app arrangement option.

Also, icons placed in Categories folders still display where they were prior to being placed into the folders -- Bummer

And the Categories folders do not show up.

Edit: After several syncs, the categories folders did show up.

I have 5-Icon Dock working under 3.1. I had to reboot to get it to work though. I know there are a few versions of this kind of app... I'm using the one that is "Five Icon Dock" from Cydia/Telesphoreo (Tweaks)

Hope you can get it to work too ;)

I'll try it again, when I tried it, it just stacked all the icons on left side of dock.

Edit: No go for me, even after reboot. Just stacks all icons to left.

Guess I'll be using Movement to arrange my apps instead of iTunes.

Oh... Well that sucks. I'll have to just move all Apps to the last page before I put them in categories. Otherwise it's pretty much useless to use that screen. (I have a lot hidden... All my Games. :P)

That's a good idea, I should have checked it before moving all my apps into folders.

Just tried Movement and it doesn't read anything from phone under 3.1

OP didn't mention that winterboard themes also show up in itunes syncing, which is something I REALLY didn't expect.

 Wow! That's pretty weird... I figured it was just loading locations of apps, but it could be loading the whole springboard... Does it load Springboard Wallpapers and Docks? Or just App icons?

If it's just App icons it makes senese. The apps generally have diff icons for the springboard than the iTunes App Store so it would try to load those. But if it loads the dock then it's loading the images, if it loads the wallpaper (not even a part of the system files) it's loading more of the springboard.

My 5-icon dock is a modified glass orb transparent dock and it looks like that but my iPod icon is missing so it only shows 4 symbols LOL
