iDisk to transfer files to new computer?

My laptop is on the decline and I was thinking about picking up a cheap little netbook. I was wondering if I could use iDisk to transfer the files from my old computer to the new one.

You can login to your iDisk at me.com and download your files - or use a cheap usb key...

Yes, you could do that. It could take a while, though, as transferring and uploading a lot of files is a time consuming process.
