on 6/25/04, on this page (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=76675&page=1&pp=25), i boldly claimed i'll be in the top 20 by year's end, moving up over 900 places. i now have 253 places to go.

i challenge everyone to up their production in an effort to stop me. mwah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!

I've gone from position NULL to position 398 in about a month or so... that's not tooooo bad. I only need to double my points to catch you... :)

(I still don't understand folding@home and what it does but my PC ain't doing anything anyhow)

Competition and the cause, both are good. Keep up the good work, it would be great to have *more* competition, our team seems to have settled into a spot that in all reality is not going to vary much without a dramatic infusion of folders.

Here's hoping for more recruits!

Well fine, if this is what it's come to.....I'm upping my production. I have today entered the green ranks. Catch me if you can Zim :p :eek:

At current rates, you'll take another 156 days to catch up, and enter the top 20. Still think you can do it? ;)

it'll be tight. at current rates, i'll barely edge you out at year's end. but i lost a machine this weekend, and as you said, you're upping your production.

but maybe i've got a trick or two up my sleeve :-)

I might be picking up your guantlet here pretty soon... I just added 3 more processors to my measley 1... I'm also contemplating running 2 F@H clients on my P4 with HT.... it's only running at 50% CPU... I've overclocked it to 2.7 and might ramp it up a bit more...

If you see my chart you'll see that my average is gonna raise quite a bit here pretty soon... :)

But maybe I won't... it's just fun to help the team out in a trash talkin' way... :)

i'm over 3 months ahead of schedule; top 20 was achieved yesterday. at current rates, i'll be in the top 10 by year's end.

my dual g5 should be here in the next day or two, btw...

and another 2.4 GHz PC will be back in action w/in two weeks...
