Number of phones per app

Anyone know how many phones you can put an app on? Is it the five device rule like the authorization of computers?

I'm interested in buying an app but want both my wife and I to be able to use it. She will load it from a different computer onto her phone but I will buy it from both with my username.

You can put apps on up to 5 computers per the SLA. To put an app you purchase on your wife's iphone you do the following:
First buy the app logged in to your account in itunes and put on your phone.
Next log into your wife's itunes account and connect YOUR iphone. Authorize the computer but do not sync. Go up to file & select: "transfer purchases made on this phone to this computer", it will then put ALL of the purchased apps, songs, etc. from your iphone into her account. From there you just select which ones you want to sync to her iphone.
