Hi,

I’ve looked for different tutorials on the web how to do this, but haven’t been able to find any. In Photoshop, i’m trying to duplicate the 3D and rotation of this:

with this:

I do have some experience making animations in Photoshop, but not enough. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

probably done with a plugin or xara3D software if it wasn't done in a 3D app (that would be my approach so no help on photoshop).

with photoshop??

really doubt it, only does simple animations frame by frame.

a thing like that i think you need a good 3D program

Check out Swift 3d. It can create spinning animations like that rather easily. It can also export to Flash so you can place that into a SWF on your website. Also exports to various video formats.

Just a thought for a fairly simple animation.

Thanks for the help. I was able to do what I wanted with Xara 3D. What I am trying to do is the use the animation as a screensaver in Ubuntu. I’ve asked here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1277774 but so far have not gotten anywhere. Any ideas?
