I need to get my ipod Touch replaced, and the man told me I would receive a refurbished ipod touch. What is the quality of the refurb?

Refurbished iPods have their batteries and cases replaced, so the quality is fine.

I've bought a few refurb iPods and the quality has never been less than stellar. In fact, I would go so far as to say that they might even be a bit better than a new iPod.

Well, I received a "new" 8gb touch via FedEx yesterday. Generally, it's fine; no structural problems, and the case and screen look scratchless.

But at the lower left corner, you can see that the new case has caught a bit of plastic and pushed it out between the chrome and the glass. Nothing serious, but I was a bit disappointed.

No. It should seem like a new iPod to you.

You aren't buying something that is used, you are buying something that has been restored to new condition.
