ordered an imac last week...

via the online Apple store, and according to Fedex tracking it hasn't moved out of California yet (I'm in NY). Guess I should've paid for airborne shipping. But seriously do they not update the tracking info at various stops along the way of a 3000 mile journey? I very rarely have things shipped Fedex so I'm genuinely curious.

I t can take up to 24 hours for carrier to update its page. Also, Apple uses the cheapest delivery method so it's unlikely that it has moved in weekend. Give FedEx a call

Thanks for the feedback. I will definitely give them a call. The order was placed last Monday and I received the tracking info last Wednesda; just figured it would've budged by now. :D (I do admit I'm a little anxious for this latest addition to my :apple: collection to arrive!)

Any update from Apple or FedEx as to when our order will be delivered to you in NY? A week seems a bit long.
