hi guys,

i'm looking for a program that lets me use the direct connect protocol. i'm not trying to find a way to illegally download copyrighted material. my college has all dorms networked over dc++ (direct connect). everything is swell on my pc, but the dc++ version from neo-modus for macs totally sucks. can anybody recommend me an other program that lets me access the direct connect network. thing is, i'm not accessing the web at all. it all stays in the intranet. i just need to be able to enter my hub address. only people with dorm ip's can connect.

in p2p software i like acquisition, but there isn't a way to connect to the dc network with acquisition, is there?

Hey there, asw far as I know there is only like 1 other program for DC on the mac side. It's something like DCgui, and to perfectly honest, I HATE that app. It just seems very poorly implimented compared to NMDC. True, NMDC isn't my favorite app, but quick question, why do you dislike NMDC?
