hey, i'm just getting back into my japanese language studies and i'm looking for a vocab/training app with an accompanying itouch app so i can study and go. anyone have any recommendations?

I like Anki for flash card style training. There's also an iAnki that supposedly can be used on mobile devices like the iPod Touch, though I haven't used that.

Japanese Flash

I'm the developer of a iPhone / iPod Touch Japanese study app called Japanese Flash.

It has over 145,000 words categorized into 180 study sets and includes progress tracking so you only study what you don't know rather than waste time repeating the same words.
