Iphone 3g Lcd Display Problem

Hello,

I changed LCD display of Apple 3G Iphone, it has gone white.

I can receive call when i slide my finger at the approximate place where the unlock side is. The ribbon cable connection is fine ( I have double checeked it)

can you suggest any solution??

Could it be faulty proximity/ambiant light sensor??

check the connections and integrity of the connector clamps and connector pins (or strips). A 100x magnifier will help with this.
